Instructors

All instructors at Bikram's Yoga College of India, San Diego have been certified by Bikram Choudhury after graduating from his intensive Teacher Training Programs.  All are required to Re-Certify every 3 years, and to maintain the integrity of Bikram's Hatha Yoga system, the teaching methods, and his dialogue. We encourage our teachers to continue their study, practice, and development as teachers by returning to the Source, attending Bikram's seminars, classes, re-visiting the Teacher Trainings, and most importantly -- maintaining their own Yoga practice.

Bikram Certified Teachers:   Our policy has always been to allow any actively Certified and Re-certified Bikram's Teacher to be able to take classes for free at our school.  Now, with the ever increasing number of people who have gone through Bikram's Teacher Training Program, we are requiring proof of valid and updated Certification to be offered this benefit.  To practice for free at our school, we ask that you make a wallet-sized reduction copy of your most recent (within the last 3 years) Bikram Yoga Teaching Certification (or Re-Certification), and show it with a valid picture ID at our reception desk when you come for a Yoga Class at our school, otherwise you may be asked to pay the drop in fee.
